I just downloaded Encore for the first time and when I open it I get an error stating "Adobe Encore CS6 cannot run in non-royalty serialized mode. The application needs to be serialized with a royalty bearing serial number." I have contacted chat support and all they do is uninstall/reinstall Encore, do a clean uninstall of creative cloud and reinstall everything. I have spent hours by myself and with Adobe trying to get this figured out and it is frustrating, I pay over $60 a month so I can have whatever tools I need quickly and not being able to use this has really caused some major stress. Maybe somebody on here has been thru this and found a fix. I have a Windows PC running Windows 10 OS 64bit and am subscribed to the Creatid ave Cloull apps suite. Can someone please help with this, and not uninstall/reinstall because this has been done hundreds of times and has not worked so that is not the issue. Thanks.
I have previously used the flash output in Encore in CS3 and CS4. First time using it in CS5. I like to use video clips as menu backgrounds and have done it many times before. I link both the video and the audio to the menu in the motion properties window. In CS5, it appears that this function works for DVDs, but not for Flash. When I do the Flash export, the menus are just a black screen with the audio I linked to.
I installed CC aps and uninstalled CS6 apps. Apparently Encore was unistalled with Premiere CS6. I now have no option to install Premiere CS6. How do I get Encore?
All I want is add subtitles in different languages that can be toggled on and off, the subtitle/captioning service offered .srt and .scc files and neither are working in either Premiere or Encore.
Using CC 2015 on Mac. Thanks very much.

So I have not made a DVD in a while and am getting an usual error while building.
I exported several sequences from Premiere 11.1.2 into Media Encoder as a m2v file. Nothing unusual...it worked fine. Plays back fine in encore. But when I try and build the DVD image I get the following error. This is the first timeline, called" Introduction".
PCG"Introduction: has an error at 00:02:31:28. Internal Software error: 0%, line Introduction- PCG Info: name=Introduction, ref=Cpgc, time= 00:02:31:28.
This is right at the very end of the sequence. The only thing I can think of as an issue is the sequence exports from Premiere were at 23.976 and I transcoded to 29.97 in AME.
As a test, I made a ProRes version of the sequence and imported into Encore and transcoded using one of the presets. Seems to work fine. Only issue I have is that I think it looks a little blurrier. I guess I can live with that but just curious what the heck the error is.
And I guess my only other question is should I leave everything at 23.976 and let Encore create the SD DVD at 29.97?
Hi
Is there a way to save a project as a template in Encore? I have created my project and all is fine but I want to make a couple of discs using the same project but with different contents, video, sound, pics and so on.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When attempting to burn a dvd my file is 3.7 ...however my computer is saying I dont have enough space on my blank disc
When I build an autorun DVD with no menu (Encore CS5) and set the timeline as first play, the build test shows a "Title Remote Not Set" message... which I have always ignored and gone ahead with the project build to ISO (other than "not set" the only option in the Disc tab is for "Stop" which I don't think I want)
I have 2 DVD players, and neither remote control has a TITLE button, so I just figured I could ignore what seems to be a warning, not a real "error" that would stop the project
But... I'm curious... is there some part of the DVD specification that I'm missing, and will having the "Title Remote Not Set" cause some kind of problem?
Trying to get my 5.1 surround mix from Premiere CC into Encore to author a Blu-Ray and DVD. Exported AAC file from Premiere. Imported it into Encore. When I look at Quality Presets in Encore, the audio tab shows basic audio settings as Dolby Digital Stereo with no option to change it to 5.1. I built the project anyway and played it on a Blu-Ray player and heard only L & R audio channels.
Encore defaults to automatically setting the button routing (the selection path among the menu buttons during playback, as you use the remote's arrow keys). For custom-built menus, the automatic button routing often give quirky button paths (dead-ends, strange routes, ...). Fix this manually as follows.
______________________________________________________________________________________
1 - In Project Panel (top left), on Menus tab…
2 - In Monitor Panel (top middle)…
3 - In Properties Panel (top right)…
Note:You won't see this button if you are editing the buttons themselves - i.e., if in the Layers Panel (btm right) the buttons are listed and any are selected. You have to be at the menu level, not the button level, of selection to see this option button. If you find yourself in the button level of selection (where you set what that button opens during playback), you can return to the menu level of selection by clicking on the menu (its name, i.e., line entry, in the list of menus in the menu tab) in the Project Panel (top right).
4 - In the Monitor Panel (top middle), select the Tab for that menu, then ...
Note: You can drag to the arrow key indicator to that same button (the one the arrow indicator icon is sitting on). Use this, for example, if you don't want the selection path to "wrap" to the top, so that pressing the remote's down arrow from the bottom button would just stay at that bottom button.
Note: For some cases, such stacked buttons (see image below), it may be more intuitive to set up and left arrows to the same target, and down and right arrows to the same target -- e.g.:

My goal here is a set of quick-references to remind new or infrequent users how to do important tasks that I did not find fully (or succinctly) documented elsewhere.
About me: I'm a hobbyist user relatively new to Adobe Premiere Pro & Encore, which I use a handful of times a year, but in fairly ambitious projects, at least for a one-person team, and as a hobbyist user. So, remembering the software's pitfalls and the sometimes inobvious paths to getting things done can be tricky for me. To help with that, I plan to write some walk-throughs. And rather than wasting them in just my person files, I thought I'd post them here, in case anyone else can use them. This is the first one. We'll see how many I create.
Hi,
I am running Encore CS6 and have the same issues as reported by many people. eg No Library content (or only a random few buttons and menus) showing in the Library window of Encore CS6 desktop
I have been on the Self Help pages and downloaded the content. I tried the Windows 734MB zipped download and the other additional solution which is listed
This is the one where you select English and it downloads a very big compressed file - when uncompressed gives you the 'en-US' Library Folder.
Then as instructed I copied contents to the Encore location : C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Encore CS6
I then started Encore and made sure the Media was pointing to this location in the 'Edit - Preferences- Media Location selection
Then I was all excited this would solve it and - oh - it didn't !
I've been playing around with this for hours trying to figure out what is wrong and tearing my hair out !!
Does anyone have more info / help they can give me to solve this very annoying problem.
I don't want to do anthing too radical as I am halfway through some final changes to an important Blu Ray disc burn and only needed some better Button builds to use on the menu !
Need to solve it though
Any help welcomed ! Thanks.

I've done all my editing in Premiere, I've exported all necessary MPEG-2s, created the DVD Menu, timelines and buttons, even edited the menu some in Photoshop. Now I'm ready to build/burn; my project is too big for a regular 4.7G disc, so I have a stack of double-sided discs. The only-thing I'm not sure about is how do I tell Encore to write to the other side of the disc after it's exhausted the first side ? Do I physically have to flip it ? Cause Encore is telling me the disc is full. Is there a checkbox, a button, a menu option I'm missing ? The project looks good, the check finds no problems; can someone inform and explain how do I burn a double sided disc so that it writes and plays correctly ?
I'm already breaking my project up into multi disc since it was quite big; and my second burn will contain more than the first. Anyways please enlighten this DVD novice.
Encore CS6 lately crashes constantly when I try to import assets. This is when I am trying to build a DVD. When I export the DVD files, that folder seems to "corrupt" no matter which drive I save them to; when I open the folder, it just closes. Any help is much appreciated.

Haven't used Encore CS5 in a month or so and today when trying to create a new project or open an old one, it goes through the loading transcode settings, etc, then pops up a small warning box with "Access Denied" and when I click OK button the program closes and says Windows is looking for the problem.
Opened CS4 Encore and it works fine on same machine, created project.
Just had a Windows 7 update install yesterday and installed a Matrox MX02 LE PCIe box which seems to be working fine. Premiere is OK, but did notice that AME took 25 minutes to encode a 5 minute piece of HDV to DVD-mpeg today. All 8 processors working at 100%.
I don't use Encore that much (and worse case, I have it on my laptop workstation and can use that as backup until CS5.5 arrives) but the slowdown in AME makes me nervous. Have major web video project in the mill and need to render 13 movies in next couple days.
Any thoughts?
Rick
