Can't Burn Blu-Ray

$

I recently filmed a wedding, edited in Premiere CS5, and encoded to  MPEG-Blu-Ray (.m2v files). I created a project in Encore CS5 and clicked  Build when I was ready. After it built the menus, it tried to begin the  burn. However, before it began, I received a "Blue-ray Error device not  ready Code 3 note AS storage error -97060" message. There is hardly  anything online about this. I have a Pioneer BDR-206 12x burner, and am  using Verbatim 25GB BD-R discs. I also tried some Optical Quantum 25GB  4x discs, with the same error. I then updated the firmware of the  burner. The project is only 14GB. I've heard that having long file names  can sometimes mess things up, but all mine are less than 10 characters.  I also tried building a blu-ray folder, and burning that in Nero 10,  but still got the same results. My guess is that it's the burner, but I  can successfully burn DVDs with it. I've also used the same verbatim  discs successfully. I can't even do a disk error check in windows,  because of a non-descriptive error. I wish there were more on this error  in the manual. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Fix Error: “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)” when starting Encore

I get this when I try to start En and I am not sure why.  I am running Windows 7 and have been since I have had it installed.  I have used it in the past but now it doesn't work.  Any worthwhile suggestions would be appreciated.

Blu-ray Error: "invalid operation", Code: "19", Note: "primary video stream attributes must be consistent with playList"

Hi,

I cannot create a Blu-ray Folder or Blu-ray Image with my project.  Everytime I click Build, I receive this error:

Blu-ray Object: "<Timeline>Untitled Timeline", Error: "invalid operation", Code: "19", Note: "primary video stream attributes must be consistent with playList"

I created my .m4v and .wav files in Adobe Media Encoder using the H.264 Blu-ray preset HDTV 1080p 23.976 High Quality.  I also tried creating several variations (encoded the audio as Dolby Digital, tried the preset HDTV 1080p 24 High Quality).  No matter what I always get the same error above.

I only have a basic menu (no motion) but I tried deleting it and still get the error.

Encore is not transcoding my files and I'd like to keep it that way if possible, and use the better rendering capabilities of AME.  The only change I am making to the AME presets is to enable VBR 2-pass and Use Maximum Render Quality.  That shouldn't cause the issue?

I searched the forums and did not find anything.  Someone suggested restarting Encore but that did not help.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Graham

PGC error caused by subtitles

I went to build a project and got the "PGC has an error at" error.  After re-encoding all the assets on the timeline and re-importing into Encore it built fine UNTIL i added the subtitles back into the mix.  I went to the time it said it had an error and just deleted the subtitle there and tried to output again, same error but different timecode.  If I delete the subtitle that occurs at each error it progresses BUT this isn't really a solution. I could deal with a couple deletions, not this many.

Is there any actual fix to this issue?  Or suggestions (rebuild from scratch?)?  Very frustrating.

The timeline has 3 audio tracks (DD 2.0 192k), not sure if that is a contributing factor.

I'm using Encore 5.1 (CS5.5).

thanks

Ryan

Error Message When Diagnostics Say Everything is OK - HUH?

Hello...building Blu-Ray project, disks 1 and 3 were completed and played well through navigation, diagnostics and Build the Image and then burn the Blu-Ray Disk.

When I worked on Disk 2, everything was fine on the Diagnostics, corrected all issues as before. I even went through the navigation on the PREVIEW.

When it came time to BUILD the IMAGE, I got this error Message:

Blu-Ray Object: "<Timeline> Disk 2 Blu-Ray - H.264 For Blu-Ray", Error: "Invalid Operation", Code "19", Note: "primary video stream attributes must be consistent within playList"

1. Can someone translate this for me ? What does it mean ?

2. I did everything the same for disks 1 and 3, so why am I having this error message ?

3. How do I fix this ?

Thank you

Encore Still Image Skipping

Dear all,

The issue I have been having an infuriating time with is; whenever I  upload the full avi file into encore. Encore keeps either skipping or freezing on only the still images And only on the PAL version.

The film works perfectly when played on its own.

I was was hoping if any of you wonderful people, could suggest any possible solutions or reasons as to the problem.

Is it normal for Transcoding to take a week?

I'm trying to burn a Premiere Pro timeline import to DVD using Encore, but when I ordered the project to "Build" so that it could begin the burnin gprocess, it first popped upped a "Transcoding..." screen. I igured this is normal, but it has been running for four days now, and the progress bar is still around 15/20 per cent. It would make sense to take forever on a slow machine, but this project is running on a Mac Pro with 32GB of RAM and a 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor with two ATI Radeon HD 5770s.

This is my first time using either Premiere Pro or Encore, and the video in question is roughly two hours long. The gist I'm getting from others in the office is that normally this can all be done in a day, so... what am I doing wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Why no Encore CS6 when installing Premiere Pro CS6? Need to author discs!

$

I subscribe to Premiere Pro CC ($20/mo).  I need to author DVDs & Blu-rays.  I see that Full Creative Cloud ($50/mo) subscribers can back-door install Encore CS6, by installing Premiere Pro CS6 (How do I get Encore with Premiere Pro CC?).  But I tried (twice), and the Encore part does not install; only the Premiere Pro CS6 gets installed

Why?  I am guessing Adobe screwed up, by thinking they should allow only allow "other" Adobe app installs for full CC subscribers ($50/mo).  But Encore CS6 should install for me.  Encore is part of the Premiere Pro subset of software.  (Adobe merely dropped Encore prematurely in CC.)  Paying subscribers of Premiere Pro CC should have access to Encore CS6 through their CC desktop app.

Premiere Pro is darn near useless without disc authoring software.  So what am I paying for?  Don't sell me PrP for $20/mo, then hold the edited content hostage for another $30/mo just to be able author it to discs!  Discs remain the single most reliable way to distribute content to a diverse group of consumers.  What good is Premiere Pro CC if the edited product can't be distributed reliably?

(In theory, I could use Pinnacle or other hobbyist software for disc authoring, but I'd rather not; I have too much doubt about the affect on image quality from past experience.)

P.S., I am doubly sure that Encore SC6 is not installing, because not only does Windows (10) fail to find it in program search (I can't find it in manual searches through my programs either), but when I go to uninstall Premiere Pro CS6 (in the CC app), it does not have check boxes to uninstall either or both of PrP & Encore as it is supposed to (according to various web posts on this).  There are no check boxes at all; it just goes right into uninstalling the software.  Oh, and of course it also does not show up in my desktop CC app's list of installed programs.

Exporting captions from Encore for YouTube?

I have an Encore project with Spanish captions.  The client would like for there to be Spanish closed captions on the YouTube version of the video (the speakers are speaking English).  I am able to export the caption file from Encore, but I don't know how to convert the .txt file to something YouTube can import. Can anyone help me?

If i open up a sequence or dynamic link a sequence to encore, I donnot get audio although I see the audio track in the timeline.  If I import a rendered mp4, I get the audio or if I import a vidoe file directly from my canon xa10, I hear the audio.  No idea what to do

Encore not in Cloud but can't buy as stand alone?

Okay.....I have Premiere Pro CS6 in the Cloud, I went to write out a DVD only to find encore grayed out.

I am told by support that I don't get encore with the cloud but I do get it with the purchased Premiere. I am also told that I can't buy encore as a stand alone either.....What the....???? So essentially Adobe is telling me to go buy a DVD authoring program that may or may not integrate with their programs?

Is this making sense to anyone else?

How have you all worked this out? What DVD authoring program should I get? I am not buying the $800 program of Premiere when I already have it in the cloud.....Advice please?

Encore CS6 looping menu problem

I would like to create a looping video menu in Encore CS6.

I set the "end action" and "override" links to jump back to the beginning of the menu.  When I preview the DVD in Encore, it works fine.  However, when I save the final DVD, the menu will not loop, either on the computer or on a DVD player.  Is there some hidden setting I have forgotten to change?

Title remote not set

I have been working with premiere and encore for short time. I created a dvd in premiere and all went well. I then exported it to encore set up my time lines menus etc. But for some reason my title remote is not set and it's the only thing I can not figure out. I have been able to figure out just about everything else even though I'm new to this level of authoring. GREAT app and a little over my head but I'm wanting more control and ability.

So what did I miss

'media pending' message in Encore CS6

$

So here's the situation:

This is only my second time trying to create a DVD with Premier Pro CC and Encore CS6, this first time I tried doing it this way, it seemed to work fine. Now this time around I am having some difficulties.

I have created a project in Premier Pro CC that is about an hour and a half long.

I exported the video as an MPEG2-DVD format with all of the setting set to their default settings. This gives me a .m2v file (video), a .wav file (audio), and a .xmp file.

I then imported the .m2v and .wav into Encore CS6 as a timeline. This would normally bring the audio and video files into a timeline together, thus bringing me one step closer to creating my DVD.

Instead, when I import the .m2v and .wav as a timeline, I get the yellow 'media pending' screen in my Monitor window where would normally be the video that normally plays.

Screen Shot 2014-08-30 at 3.03.31 PM.png

Am I just supposed to wait a longer time than normal for the media to pend because it is a larger file? I'm not quite sure what to do here. I am still new to creating DVD's this way so any information would be great!

Thank you.
