Hello,
I have read a lot of threads about the subpicture/highlight problems, but I still can’t figure out what going wrong in my project and by now it is driving me crazy.
I created normal PAL menus in Encore (wide, 16:9), and then edited them in Photoshop. Every highlight is sitting perfectly fine in Photoshop. I checked the size of the menu (720 x 576) and the PAR (D1/DV PAL Format 1,46).
Also I tried creating the highlight/subpicture with the checkbox for creating subpicture and the option in the “object” menu in Encore, but I still get the same problem: Everything is looking fine in Photoshop and in the Encore preview, but as soon as I make an Image out of it or burn it on DVD, the highlights are all shifted. And here is another weird thing I don’t understand about this. If I open the DVD on my pc the highlights are slightly shifted to the top, but if I open it with a regular DVD player the highlights are shifted more to the right.
And I tried just making a completely new project only with one button and the highlight created in Encore -> same problem…
I hope that’s enough information for someone to make a suggestion, because the project has to be done and I have no idea what to try anymore.
Edit: I am on Windows 10, using Encore Cs6 version 6.0.2.004
