I am coming from DVD Studio Pro to Encore and, I must say, DVD Studio Pro was much easier and intuitive. All I want to do in Encore is place a still image into a round shape that I copied from the City Lights Submenu. See picture below:
However, when I import a simple .png file from my video as an asset, select the circle, and try to drag the image to the circle, it just sits right on top of the menu and does not get "inserted" into the circle shape. Am I doing something wrong? The text below the circles are the buttons, but do I need to convert the shapes to buttons too? I went back to the City Lights Submenu, which is part of the Encore menu library, and tried to drag my photo onto the selected circle, but it didn't work there either.
Can someone please tell me how to get a simple still image inside the shapes? I've been looking for tutorials on this and can't seem to find one.
Please help!
