DVD skipping or freezing, while playing

Hey everyone!

So I have an Adobe Encore (cs5.1) project I've been working on for quite a while, and I've been having this one problem with it;

Once I play the DVD on a dvd player or what not, there are occasional skips and freezes throughout the DVD. Some of the freezes can last up to 30 seconds.

I've been "building" the DVD 2.40x fast. The movie in the project is an hour and 40 minutes long MPEG-2 file. Also, I'm burning on a +R Memorex DVD.

I have a client, that is strongly wanting me to fix this. Any suggestions or answers would be greatly appreciated!!
